The Upper Mississippi Gaming Corporation Generously Awarded the Motor Mill Foundation a $30,000 Award for the “Living History at Motor Phase 2” project.
This award will continue the implementation of a recently completed interpretive master plan, which offers suggestions on how to better show and tell more of the history of Motor Mill Historic District.
This award will help with the installation of a protective enclosure for the turbine display, a 3D mini-Motor display, a timeline display, four new digital animated videos of flour milling operations, interpretive panels for the second floor, wayfinding signage including a site directory and structure identification, and a large double-sided thematic byway kiosk.
